Christine Adam is an internationally-trained voice, accent and communication coach with a widely acknowledged portfolio in professional actor training and business coaching. She works internationally and is primarily based in Washington DC.

Christine's clients range from actors to business professionals, activists, teachers, trans women and anyone who is curious about becoming a more effective and empowered communicator.

Her expertise sits particularly in comprehensive voice work, accent and dialect training, presentation and public speaking, as well as specific preparation training for professionals working in theatre, TV and film productions or large scale events. She regularly comments on issues related to voice and communication, particularly on women’s voices in the public sphere.

Her formal training and education spans from training and working as an actor in New York City to receiving an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. In addition, she is a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and her accent teaching is heavily influenced by Knight-Thompson Speechwork®. She is also a certified Organic Intelligence® coach. OI is a Mindfulness and compassion-based approach to the nervous system that helps to reduce stress and build resiliency.

Her work experience comprises voice and accent coaching in university actor training programs, including top schools in the United Kingdom, such as ArtsEd, LAMDA and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, private voice and accent coaching with actors who feature in major West End shows and international Film and TV productions, tailored communication workshops with corporate clients, such as Whyte & MacKay, Expedia, Deloitte, IDT and industry associations, as well as private sessions with individuals, such as doctors, business professionals, diplomats and teachers. She works with anyone who needs to use their voice as a professional instrument or who wishes to discover their voice as an instrument to ‘voice what matters’. She is also a communication trainer with RADA Business.
